Three more people charged in Seprod fraud case

Three more people have been charged in relation to the multi-million dollar fraud at the Seprod group of companies.

 

They are 40-year-old Carlington Reid, 29-year-old Maynard Anderson, and 48-year-old St. Patrick Waskit. The men were charged yesterday.

 

Reid, Anderson and Waskit turned themselves in to the police on Monday, after being listed as persons of interest in relation to the fraud.

 

At least 17 people have now been charged in connection with the nearly $160 million fraud, which took place between October 2021 and May 2022, and reportedly involved some 26 employees.

 

The accused are scheduled to appear before the court on Monday, May 22, 2023.

 

In the meantime, Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of the crime and security portfolio, Fitz Bailey, has appealed to other persons of interest to turn themselves in.
