This, as he said crashes are preventable.

 

Speaking at a defensive driving workshop this morning (April 17), Mr Green noted that with 488 people dying last year in road crashes, and 122 people dying as at April 13, swift action must be taken.

 

He said learning how to drive defensively is among the many steps which can be taken to reduce and prevent crashes.

He said the Government will also be improving its breathalyser system to tackle crashes.

 

Mr Green said the country’s hospitals continue to be hugely impacted by accidents.
