The murders follow the expiration of a curfew that was imposed in the community at the weekend.

 

The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Jerome Walters, a conductor of Railway Lane, his mother, fifty-one-year-old businesswoman Georgia Coleman of St. Johns Road, and 22-year-old construction worker Roneil Bailey of St. Jago South, all in Spanish Town.

 

Bailey was killed in the latest incident on Alva Boulevard in St. Jago South.

 

Reports are that at around 10: 42 PM, police say residents heard loud explosions and went to investigate.

 

They discovered Bailey lying on his back at his gate suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body.

 

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

 

Meanwhile, the mother and son were killed hours earlier.

 

Reports are that at about 7: 45 PM, Coleman and Walters were sitting at the matriarch’s business establishment in Clayton Heights when they were pounced upon by two men on a motorcycle.

 

The men alighted and opened fire at them hitting Walters multiple times.

 

Coleman reportedly ran but was pursued and shot.

 

The gunmen then escaped in the area.
