Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams says assessments are being carried out to improve the section for crab vendors in heroes circle.

Speaking with Irie Fm News on Monday morning, Mayor Williams said the assessments will determine what improvements can be made to include new wash stations among other things.

In relation to the reopening of the area, Mayor Williams said while a timeline cannot be provided at this time, this will not be done until the authorities are satisfied with the improvements.
