An elderly man is suspected to have drowned in a water tank at his home at Grier Fields, St. Ann yesterday (November 4). 

He is 74-year-old Eustace Walters, otherwise called ‘Teddy’.

Police say, at about 2:17 p.m., relatives went in search of Walters, when he was not seen. 

His body was found afloat in the tank. 

The police were alerted and on their arrival, the body was retrieved from the water and identified by relatives. 

He was taken to hospital, where his death was confirmed.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
