Dancehall singjay Dexta Daps is expressing gratitude to Davido after he shared the stage with the American-born Nigerian singer on his Timeless Tour in Washington.

On the weekend, Davido, who collaborated with Dexta Daps on the track Bop for his fourth studio album Timeless, brought out Dexta during his performance in Washington DC on Saturday (July 1) for his North American Timeless tour.

Dexta Daps, via his official Instagram account on Monday (July 3), wrote, in part, “A force not to reckon with @davido Big respects again brother for the energy you give Jamaica continuously. We appreciate you.”

In another post Dexta Daps shared that he was so excited to join Davido on stage, that he ran out on the wrong part of the song. The video snippet posted to IG, captured screaming fans as the Seaview Gardens native belted out his 2015 hit, Shabba Madda Pot.

Davdio’s two-week Timeless tour was launched on July 1 in Washington, D.C. at the Capital One Arena. It will then roll through arenas in Houston, Chicago, and Boston before concluding on July 15 in Toronto.

Meanwhile, Dexta Daps is gearing up for his Trilogy US tour during the months of July and August, starting with Hartford, Connecticut, on July 16.
