The People’s National Party, PNP has announced Christopher Henry as its candidate who will be representing St. Andrew North Central in the next general elections.

Mr. Henry was presented by party President Mark Golding, at a recent constituency meeting.

The St. Andrew North Central constituency is currently held by the Jamaica Labour Party’s Karl Samuda, who recently resigned from cabinet, but has indicated that he will not step down as member of parliament, until a suitable successor is chosen by the people.

The MP aspirant has been critical of Mr. Samuda’s legacy, claiming he has failed the people of St. Andrew North Central for decades.
