Education Minister Fayval Williams has pledged that her Ministry will try to improve the wait time for maintenance works in schools.

Mrs. Williams acknowledges that this is a problem faced by the Government but says there is a commitment to improving the situation.

She promises that schools that began this school year with maintenance issues will see them resolved as the year progresses.

She was speaking to reporters, following a visit to the Mountain View Primary and Infant School in St. Andrew on Monday.
