Four people were shot and killed in Duanvale Trelawny on Monday night.

Their identities have not been released.

Irie Fm news understands that the four people were in a house on Mountain Street when they were shot and killed by unknown assailants.

A motive for the killing has not been ascertained.

Investigations continue.

This is the second quadruple killing in less than a week.

Last Wednesday, four people were shot and killed at a cookshop in Summerfield Clarendon.

That incident is also being investigated by the police.
