Opposition leader Mark Golding has expressed concern about the number of mass murders being committed in Jamaica.

This, as he lamented that crime is out of control.

The latest mass murder incident occurred in Dunkirk on Monday. Three men were shot and killed in the community in what police believe may be a reprisal for a murder which occurred last Friday.

Speaking at a People’s National Party conference in Clarendon, Mr Golding said the government scrapped all the social intervention projects that would have been beneficial in helping tackle the root causes of crime.
