The Education Ministry is reporting that three schools have reported bomb threats across the island since Monday.

Education Minister Fayval Williams made the revelation at a Post Cabinet Press Briefing on Wednesday morning.

She said one school received the threat on Monday and the other 2 received the threats on Tuesday.

Despite reports from the police that the threats are hoaxes, the minister directed schools to take the threat seriously at all times.

She said reports indicate that there was significant disruption across the education sector.
