The Clarendon police on Wednesday arrested a man who they believe is a part of a car stealing ring in the parish.

The man was held after the police received information that there were men in the May Pen area attempting to steal motor vehicles.

Head of operations for the Clarendon police, Deputy Superintendent Clifton Green said the man was found in possession of tools used to break into cars.

DSP Green appealed to motor vehicle owners to ensure they secure their vehicles properly.
