The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) says the time has come for it to transform, and create greater regional impact. 

CXC Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wayne Wesley made the statement, during the preliminary exam results release ceremony on Thursday.

He said this has to be done to create multiple pathways for students. 

He said CXC is rethinking its qualification framework, as well as its assessment and validation framework.

According to Dr. Wesley, CXC is working with various governments to utilize its hybrid innovation system.
