Jamaica Football Federation to host annual mandatory Fifa/Ma referee course
The Jamaica Football Federation will be hosting the annual mandatory Fifa/Ma referee course later this month.
The course is for Fifa referees and other top panel referees to a maximum of thirty. It will highlight changes in the laws of the game and other developments to equip the referees for success at the highest level.
The 5 day event starts on July 26 with an opening ceremony at 12.30 at the JFF office.
Fifa referee development officer Javier Santos, Joe Audi, Fifa technical instructor and Jamaican Concacaf/Ma fitness instructor, Mr. Rohan Thobourne will be in charge, assisted by local instructors.
The mandatory referee fitness test will be at 6:30 in the morning of July 26 at the Usain Bolt Track, while the referees will have fitness training at the UWI/Captain Horace Burrell Center of Excellence also at 6:30.
All the classroom sessions will be at the JFF.
