NRSC calls for greater focus on tackling road deaths in some sections of the island
There needs to be a greater focus on interventions in some sections of the country, in tackling road fatalities.
That’s according to Vice Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, Dr Lucien Jones who was speaking in an interview with reporters on Sunday.
He said focus is needed especially in St. Ann and Westmoreland where road deaths are high.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jones said the council will be rolling out targeted road safety measures soon to stem the number of road deaths and prepare for the upcoming yuletide season.
