The St Elizabeth police have arrested and charged a man for the murder of 24-year-old Jowayne Witter, otherwise called ‘Iron’, a labourer of Tryall District in the parish.

Witter was killed in an incident on Monday October 16.

Acting head of the St Elizabeth Police Deputy Superintendent Coleridge Minto said 27 year old Romeo Smith has been charged with murder.

DSP Minto said Witter was killed after being stabbed.
