Former West Indies captain Richie Richardson has been appointed match referee for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final between Australia and India.

The match which will be contested at the oval in London will take place from June 7 to 11, with June 12 earmarked as the reserve day. 

Chris Gaffaney of New Zealand and Richard Illingworth of England…..both members of the ICC Elite Panel of umpires…. will have on-field duties and will be supported by Richard Kettleborough of England who’s been appointed  Tv umpire for a second successive World Test Championship final.

The role of 4th umpire will be filled by Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka.
