There was a sombre mood in Content Gardens, Ocho Rios, St. Ann, this morning (October 4), as residents and family members gathered at the bloody scene where 52-year-old pastor Michelle Ann-Marie Roache was stabbed to death.

A suspect has been taken into police custody.

Reports are that Roache was attacked after a dispute with a family member, over an electricity connection on the adjoining property they shared.

Roache’s adopted son, Shem Carnie, who was a witness to the incident, told Irie FM News that he was also attacked but escaped unhurt.

Mr. Carnie said Ms. Roache was a woman of god and a good person.
