The Trelawny police are conducting operations at several cemeteries to ascertain whether there has been any unauthorized disturbance of graves.

This following the discovery of 8 charred human skulls, along the roadway in Spring Hill, yesterday.

Reports are that about 6:15 p.m. residents were walking along the roadway when they stumbled upon the remains.

They alerted the police who responded and processed the scene.

The charred remains were removed to the Falmouth hospital, where they were confirmed  to be human skulls.

They were then handed over to the morgue.
