Police are probing the suspected drowning of a fifteen-year-old boy at Guts River in Manchester last evening (July 16).

 

He is Dontae Gardener of Top Hill, St. Elizabeth.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that at about 2:30 P.M., Dontae went swimming in the river where he allegedly got into difficulties and drowned.

 

The police were alerted and upon their arrival, Dontae was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
