Two people died in separate crashes in St Catherine and Clarendon last night.

 

Dead are 51-year-old Everton Daley of Newlands in Portmore, St. Catherine and sixty-six-year-old Novelette Riley, a dressmaker of Duke Street, in Toll Gate, Clarendon.

 

In the latest incident at around 11:40 P.M., Riley was hit by a car in Four Paths Clarendon.

 

Police report that the driver of the vehicle was parking when it got stuck in the mud.

 

In a bid to remove the vehicle from the mud, the driver lost control of the vehicle which hit Riley, pinning her to the ground.

 

In the other incident around 11:35 P.M., Daley was hit from his bicycle by a motor car that did not stop.

 

He was pronounced dead at hospital.
