This, as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which paves the way for cross-listing of stocks and investments between Kenya and Jamaica, was signed this morning (December 18, 2023).

Speaking at the event between the Jamaica and Nairobi stock exchanges, Managing Director of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Dr. Marlene Street Forrest said the signing brings an enormous opportunity for Jamaicans to invest in Kenya and for Kenyans to invest in Jamaica.

Dr. Street Forrest also noted that the partnership will help both countries to build resilience.
