A sombre mood hangs over the Springfield community in Westmoreland, as residents mourn the death of three young boys.

They perished in a house fire, last evening (September 4).

Dead are 9-year-old Adrianno Laing and 7-year-old twins, Jayden and Jorden Laing.

A fourth child – their sister – was injured in the blaze and has been hospitalized.

Meantime, like many other students, the boys were expecting to return to school today, instead, grief councillors from the Education Ministry are at the Sheffield Primary School providing counselling.
