300 more CCTV cameras to be added to JamaicaEye system

National Security Minister, Dr Horace Chang has announced plans to add another 300 CCTV cameras to the country’s National Surveillance System, JamaicaEye.

 

Speaking during his Sectoral Debate presentation in Parliament yesterday (June 1), Dr Chang noted that the cameras will primarily be installed in the corporate area.

 

He noted that the cameras have significantly impacted crime-fighting, especially in the corporate area.
